This magical 2.5 hour jeep tour explores the ever changing desert landscape as the sun sets in a blaze of color. An exciting off-road adventure takes us over the most scenic 4x4 route in the Eilat Mountain Nature Reserve.
The tour (in open jeeps) follows in part, ancient pilgrim and merchant routes. It ascends the highest summit in the area, where the breathtaking views take in 4 neighboring countries,Saudi Arabia, Jordan Egypt and Israel .
The tour visits the only water source for wildlife in the vicinity and as dusk settles over the desert we can often find herds of Ibex coming to drink.
We stop will stop in Mt.Yoram to enjoy traditional desert style hospitality, where we'll have pita bread baked over the fire with Labane cheese, and where a circle of drummers will entertain us during our break. At this time a lecture will be given by Dan Ofri to the group. Sitting around a campfire, on which the Bedouin pita bread is made, we will sip sweet tea as our Bedouin host and storyteller weaves traditional desert tales both true and legendary.
After returning to the jeeps for more off-road adventure we head back to Eilat.
