Bloomfield Science Museum, Jerusalem
Jerusalem has holy places and historical sites and . . . a new science museum with active exhibits and a great variety of programs. Chagall Windows
The Synagogue of the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center was dedicated on February 6th, 1962, as part of our Hospital's Golden Anniversary celebration. The floors and interior walls are made of Jerusalem Stone, and the Synagogue is illuminated by a hanging lantern and by sunlight which streams through the magnificent Chagall Windows.
Guided tours of the Synagogue are conducted in English and other languages.

Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem
Illustrates a unique cultures and civilizations of peoples mentioned in the Bible such as the ancient Egyptians, Canaanites... It is an historical and archaeological museum that sheds light on the biblical religion, but not necessarily a museum of religion itself. The museum’s extensive collection of Ancient Near Eastern art presents the history of the biblical period. Daily guided tours and an Easyguide audio guiding system are free with admission.

Jerusalem Botanical Gardens
The Jerusalem Botanical Gardens comprises more than six thousand plant species, which were brought to Israel from all over the world and are being preserved for the benefit and enjoyment of the public. The plants are displayed in six sections, each designed to create a miniature landscape of the region of origin of the plants. The Gardens also boasts a tropical greenhouse in the name of Florence Dvorsky, which contains a wide variety of plants from tropical regions. The University Botanical Gardens operates enrichment programs for school children - from kindergarten to secondary school - on numerous and diverse subjects dealing with nature and preservation of the environment.

Rockefeller Archaeological Museum
The Rockefeller Archaeological Museum is one of the largest and most impressive archeological museums in Israel, situated in a magnificent white limestone edifice in East Jerusalem, houses the extraordinary collection of antiquities unearthed in excavations conducted in the country mainly during the time of the British Mandate (1919-1948). The Museum was opened in 1938.

Yad Vashem
The Holocaust Martyrs and Heroes Remembrance Authority - The Jerusalem memorial to the Six Million who perished in the Holocaust.
Yad Vashem has been entrusted with documenting the history of the Jewish people during the Holocaust period, preserving the memory and story of each of the six million victims, and imparting the legacy of the Holocaust for generations to come through its archives, library, school, museums and recognition of the Righteous Among the Nations.
Located on Har Hazikaron, the Mount of Remembrance, in Jerusalem, Yad Vashem is a vast, sprawling complex of tree-studded walkways leading to museums, exhibits, archives, monuments, sculptures, and memorials
The Archive collection, the largest and most comprehensive repository of material on the Holocaust in the world, comprises 58 million pages of documents and nearly 100,000 still photographs, along with thousands of films and videotaped testimonies of survivors. These may be accessed by the public and read and viewed in the appropriate rooms.

The Ticho House
Ticho House was one of the first houses in Jerusalem built outside the Old City Walls. It was built in the second half of the nineteenth century by an Arab dignitary.
Ticho House, situated in the downtown area, is filled with the atmosphere of old Jerusalem, with the art of Israel's beloved painter Anna Ticho (1894 -1980), and with chamber music by immigrant and other artists who appear here in concert every Friday morning. Add to this a light meal in the serene garden restaurant of the Ticho House, and you have a total experience "away from it all" right in the center of town.
